Absolutely no idea how you guys get so many miles. I'm a big, broad guy, 6'3" (17st), and on average I get 63-66miles before the light comes on. The best I've done is about 80miles. The worst was about 49miles (but I reckon it was me being lazy at the pump that day and not filling up to the brim).
Facts are: 25minute commute into town (8miles), MAP2, Akras, 15T.

If you look down by your left foot you'll see a little lever. Click it up and you'll access other gears. May help your fuel consumption......

Our head office is 129 miles from home
If I set out with a full tank ... I have to (?) stop at 95 miles to fill up.
That means 34 miles to office ... and 61 miles on the way back before I have to (?) fill up again.
Do I care?
Nah ... like the man said if I want 80mpg I'll buy a Honda step-through.
One day I will try to run the baby dry with a car following just so I can learn whats left in the tank after the warning light appears.

Achyrs min, the damn thing winna even be warmed through oan that commute, 25mins tae dae 8 miles!!! git yersel oot an aboot fur a good lang tootle. Still gettin 60 miles tae the tank thin there a prob somewhere ah wid think.
Ahv goat aboot 14K oan mine noo ( 58plate R Akras Map 2) and reckon mileage has actually improved as its noo richt run in. An ahm ower 16 stane ana and def nae light oan the right wrist either. 25mins tae dae 8 miles, ah coodnae cope wi that!!!

lol, I could post a video of the commute (got a stealth bullet cam) - can assure you there's no 'Driving Miss Daisy' - but that's what you get for living and commuting in London. Looked at the computer, and it looks like I only just hit over 22mph on average! lol
Only thing that raises that up is a twice weekly blast up to the Ace Cafe after work.
Oh well, I need to pop down to Southern Cross soon to pick something up - may speak to the guys there... guessing a renegade airbox won't help much either! pmsl
