False neutral while upshifting?

Hi Guys, just completed my first track day on the Mille 1000R 2007 model. Is it a common trait to find a false neutral on upshift while gassin hard?
Also hit false neutral twice on down shift which is not so clever? I think between 3-4th gear but not 100%

Seems to be a common issue!! I use my Factory 06 on track and it also does the same thing. Compared to the previous Suzuki GSXR gearbox, the Aprilia is crap, like a tractor box, you have to stamp in the gears positively. It's not nice is it, going into a corner without the gearbox engaged.............................OOOhhhhh that was close!!

my 03 mille does it as well. you need to be harder on the gearbox on the track and don't use clutch when you shift upwards from 2nd and higher gear
