Having now sold my exhausts, I'm after some replacements. I want carbon fibre, stubby, small and noisy does anyone know of any where that make them?
Not too fussed about the usual brands i.e Akrapovic, Arrow, Blue Flame etc.
As an example a company called S P Engineering in Frome that make beautiful exhausts and at the moment are front runners,

just wondered if anyone new of anywhere else?

Cheers boys and girls. :thumbup

Mivvs? Have to love the look & sound of these. Gilo's sounded great in the five seconds I followed him before he overtook and then got lost :thumbup

try mtc they make some nice stuff, i will prob sell my akky for a pair of stubbys from them!!

there you go guys up fpr sale a pair of akkys only seen about 400 mile the new ones coming off a 11 plate bike!

Cheers mate, I'll have a look. A guy has just started a thread after his crash and is looking for some akras, get in there!

I've been looking at the SP Engineering GP pipes too as their quality looks ok and the price is good but i'm torn as i just dont think they look as tough as the Mivv's or quite as well constructed, I think they would look better if they did a raw titanium version, i'm gonna check out MTC and see what they are like.

Does anybody on here already have an SP Engineering exhaust?

I checked MTC's website but they have what seems like thousands on there but nothing I'm after. Their stubbiest can is twice the size of the E P one.
Every time I find something and compare it to the E P, I just prefer the E P.
Don't want Mivv's, last time I went to H's there were 3 Tuono's, all with Mivvs!

I put a set of hiogh level GPR's on mine look great. should be some pictures knocking around soimewhere. I only posted the other wee. If you cant fond send me an address & I'll e-mail some to you.

I know what you mean about the Mivv's but they are a quality item, i suppose its why there are quite a few people with them, must admit its nice to have something thats different (i've even considered the odd looking x-cone) but twins do tend to hammer exhausts and i dont want to get something that i'm gonna end up repacking all the time. I'll have a look for your GPR's like the look of high level pipes.

Yeah I saw the high level ones but their not for me. If I could I'd have a single stubby exit underneath my foot but it's not do-able without deep pockets and I'm in shorts right now!

Just had a look at the pics of trickymicky6's high level GPR's the cans are really nice but i guess id have to spacer the pillion footrests right out if i wanted to use them so they wont work for me, look great on your bike tho, really suit it.

My mate bought some cans for his XJR a year or 2 ago from S P Engineering , they were ok for the money but dont think a lot of R&D went into them , put them on his bike without the baffles and it sounded like a moggy thou ! Get what you pay for i reckon .
Had a set of Beuwolf cans on my last T and they were good for the money !

The Beuwolfs and others like them are really good and have a nice sound but don't seem to do really stubby cans and I don't want long ones, 250mm max. I'm kind of hoping S P have developed their cans over the years and the videos they put up seem to demonstrate a good sound. I found one video with an RSV with Akras like the ones I sold then right next to it another one with their stubby GP cans in carbon. I think they looked amazing, just what I'm looking for and sounded the dogs!

Have you got a link to those pictures? I can't navigate myself to the ******* most days so looking for those pictures, I'm lost.

Dude, got no idea how to put a link on but i found them by typing "gpr high level exhausts" in the search box and its there.

Found them! Yeah they look good but pillion issues and foot pegs are all things that can be over come but the panniers will still melt!

Panniers are the least of my worries, my Mrs is 6'2" with her feet 6" further apart it'll be her knees that are dragging in the corners!!:lol
