Engine Rebuild step one

Machine shop number 2 is currently fixing up
machine shop number 1's f*ck up !

Cranks due back last Friday---- Still waiting !

Hopefully uploading pictures of the crank going back
in this week .

Luck

Good luck. LOL sounds like the sort of machine shop I used to work for, bunch of :jack they were.

Yours truly used to have to try and explain to the frustrated customer why they weren't going to get what we'd promised faithfully to have done on time.

What was the outcome of the problem you thought you had with the crank oiling?

The worlds a better place

Cranks finally back ...... 2K Toyota bearings $35.00
Aprilia rod bolts .. priceless ... or $200.00.
"4 friggin 10mm bolts !"

Loctite ...... Check !
Beer ......... Check !

Right time to get her back together ...

sounds to me like your drinking too much beer :). The posts seems to get more vague each time.

Engines done .....
Now the worst part ..... Getting the heavy grey thing back
into the shiny thing ! ( Getting the engine back into the frame ! and the associated plumbing ! )

Oh- the manual timing chain adjusters appear to work a treat !

can't seem to upload photos from photobucket ...... May need help !

Ok mate,I'm not an expert but this works for me. I think you are almost there.

I click on the 'share ' button on top of the picture, this then opens to an option page,I then click the ' Get link code' radio button. I then highlite the 'IMG for bulletin boards & forums' address and copy it. If you then paste this address into the relevent place in your past it should automatically display

as in

IMG_0411.jpg

If you compare the coding on my pic you'll notice it starts & ends with (img) so it looks as if you are picking the wrong code to automatically open.

is that my nail polish near the front wheel ? good job mate, sorry i couldnt get down to lift motor in, i feel too many beers would have been consumed and no actual work done. . . . not such a bad thing. Let me know when you need a test ride done, you know i will preserve front Tyre wear where possible !
