electrical problems

i'v had my new rsvr 5 days done 65 miles broke down twice .
both times main fuse blown , i never had this problem with my old rsv ?
what,s up with the new one ?

Somethink on the bike is drawing to much current. Its sounds like an earth some were. Has it got any aftermarket electrical parts on it? That may be the best place to start.

Bad earth somewhere maybe or incorrectly fitted alarm. It's an 09 bike? warranty issue

Mate you have an 09 bike take the bugger back !

There are known electrical issues with the brown connector, (search brown connector) and maybe your bike has eaten the cable connector and is shorting out ?

But I would be taking it back...

Sounds like a chafed wire to me, best get it back to your local dealer to get it sorted under warranty.

A nice RSV4 loan bike to ease the pain would be top of my requests. LOL

it,s already gone back it just baffles me how its all going wrong
never had an ounce of problem with me old girl

Yep, those damn alarms have a lot to answer for, ripped mine off a few weeks ago as it was buggering around.
