Isn't that right BR. I just happened to have 2 to 3 big slides on the Maxxis. On the BMW I had I put Avon Storms on there as they were reasonable price and had good reviews. I even considered putting them on the T but went for Pilot Road 3'd. Both the Avons and Mitchelin I really rate but I went for the Mitchelins as every magaxine gave good write ups and said they lasted a long time.

When it comes to price you have to consider how long they'll last as well IMO so what you think is a great cheap deal the tyre might only last 3 to 4K whereas a more expensive sport tourer might well last you 8K and even 11K miles.

best I have ever had on a rear with a litre bike is 6k using a conti road attack ,I once did a diablo rear in 14 days ,went to spain and back then a week of wales and york runs .....new tyre please about 2.5k miles lol

Got 87 miles on my first tank of fuel of the year & 80 on my second. My confidence must be increasing.

horses for courses i spose. As Bay says for most people most of the time good ST tyres are plenty good enough.
My last set of Michelin 2CT's were superb on the road and track.Currently on power pures which although really good, i wouldnt say theyre any better than the 2 CT's !!

A man that knows. Pity u can't make the meet Dave b. We'll miss your front wheel lifting stunts as u go over small bridges now.
