Hi Chooch.
I was watching this and can explain the price, they guy had it up for about £4k then someone offered on it and he just put the price up to a ridiculous level to 'put it on hold'
so nobody else purchased it before the guy came and had a look, this way if the bolke didn't turn up he could just change the price back again without paying ebays relisting fees. It happens a lot in the motors section of ebay.
