De ja feckin vu !!

i think the bike is a right off !! :dunno

even though it has huge mushrooms... only the bottom half of the mushroom is bashed... the angle it placed it on its side has made the gear lever bend in & puncture the frame behind it... the RSV Ti exhaust (only fitted fri night) has scraped/dented the swingarm... plastics both sides scraped... because the car has hit the left of the bike to knock it all the way over on its right... this is with the CBR stand & when up right it takes alot of push to get it to fall the other side... the CBR 6 was even harder to of got pushed over !!

was the exhaust mentioned on your insurance quote ..if not get rid of it asap..they might use it as a reason not to pay out...just a thought :dunno

YAY... at last... best offer has been keep the bike (cat D) + £1460 cash !! :devious

That doesn't seem a bad deal for a 2000 :thumbup Cat D is only cosmetic damage as long as the frame is ok ( little dents/punctures from brake/gear levers don't matter) then you are on a winner.

£1460 will buy a lot of goodies from ebay, you may not have the same re-sale value as before but you may end up with a better bike to own :devious

Good luck and keep us informed

yep... its fine with me... its not 'mint'... & i only paid £1100 for it anyways... they valued it @ £2000... sooo im well happy... i aint going mad on it though... just a Dr Rossi chip, Hook filter & some a new set of decals !! :thumbup

& maybe some... £'s... £'s... £'s... £'s... :biggrin
