Just a quick one, my speedo stopped working late last night
stopped to put something under the rear seat started the bike
again and no speedo :-(

so looking if I'd knocked a plug I pulled the rubber cover up on
the ecu and 1 of the wires going to the smaller of the 2 plugs
has a cut wire (blue with a green trace)
Anyone have any idea why?

Going to order a new speedo wire today oh the joys haha

That is the wire for map 2 to be enabled. Cutting that wire makes your bike go faster :devious

Ahh thats ok then :) cheers for telling me. hmm if only I could see the speedo read more than 0 mph haha
got another speedo sensor on order so fingers crossed its just that

Just curious, was your speedo sensor at fault as mines now it working ? Don't want to buy a new one if I can help it :) cheers

Then I posted this yeah it was the sensor at fault. I've had it stop again since but that turned out to be the plug in the right side panel under the seat look there first before getting another sensor mate

I've checked the wire leading to the speedo sensor, the 3 pin plug, it's seems in fair condition, is that the plug your referring to bud , cheers

Yeah thats the one mate. Have you taken the sensor off the bike yet? If so check the wiring it can chaff by the pivot of the swingarm
