Hi...bit of a late reply but new to the forum.
If it helps I owned a gsxr 600 and a cbr 600 before my tuono r and thats with little riding experience. Im still getting used to mine but can honestly say its easier to ride than my jap bikes, but as the guys have said, its all down to you and how you respect the bike. Slow town riding is a bit lumpy but this forum and its members are brilliant and will help with advice.
