Clutch removal

Hi,

Bought an 02 from a guy on here, he said it was making a weird noise so I thought I'd have a punt on it.
Turns out it's the clutch, got down to the clutch housing and two of the three allen screws were loose and came out easy - both sheared off. No problem, I can replace them and crack it. Can't get the third one out though - it's turning but will not come out (I'm assuming it's sheared off too), and it seems it's stopping the clutch housing coming out.
There seems to be another set of bolts that hold the clutch cover in place, is it worth taking these out or is there an easy way to get the clutch housing out?

Thanks.

its ok, i worked it out.
question now though is where do i get replacement screws and nuts from.
do i have to get genuine replacement aprilia ones (part numbers please) or can i just buy some from my local nut and bolt shop - obviously the higher the tensile the better!

Try your local engineering suppliers , or MSC j&l
Question why tho is , why have they sheared /stripped ?

Mike

Thanks Mikee, I've actually ordered some from Aprilia Yorkshire but I'm not sure I'll be seeing them this side of Christmas, so I'll go see my local suppliers tomorrow.
Don't know why they've sheared, but having read up on this and other forums it seems a common problem - and a piece of cake to fix. So as it turns out got myself a bargain there!
