Thanks to advice from Legs and a big thumbs up from Griff my clutch is now working sweetly.

However, the bite point is right at the end (or beginning) of the lever travel. On the plus side it means that I only have to bounce the lever to change gear, but I woud rather have it disengaging somewhere around the middle of the lever travel.

How does one adjust the clutch bite point on a hydraulic clutch, can it even be done?

TIA

Si

You have a round adjustment on the lever arm where it bolts into the holder & should give you 4 settings to move it to different grab points

Isn't that just to alter the lever span for different hand sizes? I'll try it though and see what happens.

dont forget that the actuating pin is adjustable too, it may have come loose !!.

Tried adjusting the clutch lever as suggested, it's better, but I'd still like it a bit nearer. Is there anyway to do that without having to splash out on bling? Or if not, are there any replacement bling levers that don't cost the earth?
I'm wondering whether the low speed snatchiness means it's time to visit Sir Griff :)

had the same problem with mine. had to change the slave cylinder seal and since then it bin like yours. il find out what will cure it if anything and il let you know m8
