Ok guys, there is plenty of help on the forum to resolve the "brown connector" issue. But can anyone provide the correct voltage/charging readings at from the rectifier at tick over, 1000, 2000, 3000 rpm? My problem is that when reving, the voltage drops. At tick over fluke readings at the rectifier/battery are 13.85 ish, 1000 rpm drops to 13.5 ish, 2000 rpm 13.2 ish and 3000 rpm 12.9 ish. Is this correct ? How can you check if the rectifier is working properly and which wires to check from the alternator.
