Chain adjustment

OK GUYS WHAT IN YOUR OPINIONS IS THE BEST TIME TO ADJUST YOUR CHAIN ??
WHEN ITS COLD OR AFTER A RUN/WARM :dunno

BEEN BIKIN YEARS AND ALWAYS DONE IT COLD BUT JUST WONDERED ....

wouldnt of thought cold/warm made much difference, i normally do mine cold

best done when you just cleaned the chain and gave it some nice fresh lube though

I would say cold for sure, cause if ya did it when the chain was warm, the chain will contract as it cools and could possibly damage or wosrst case if you didn't leave enough slack it would snap. That's just my thoughts any how. :thumbup

Adjust when cold with 25mm of slack

Is that 25mm of slack from the resting chain position ( as diagramed on the swing arm - or from the extremes of slack movement.ie from top to bottom:dowhat

From the middle of the bottom run.

Milles are sensitve to chain slack and too loose and they can crunch the gears a bit.
