Well the tax expired on 31st of August and have decided to put the bike on the optimate and lay her up for the winter already!! Not used the bike much having had our third child in the summer and although tax only 40 quid didnt see the point. So here's to more biking next year.

Myth ... you are alone in "not believing it"

Are you going to the Aprilia open day in Tamworth tomorrow ... as a pillion?

Does anybody know whats going on at the open day, or is it pretty much a social gathering.

Not the foggiest matey

I am stranded as Mrs Welly not good (never was) so apart from perhaps a chance to blow the cobwebs off and go fishing in the evening, my day is dead.

I wonder if the Griff Meister will be doing "deals on the day" ... I might have fancied some rearsets but as winter is almost upon us - it will prolly not happen this year

There will be about 80 or so Ape's of all sorts, maybe more, grub and some entertainment, get your arse over there Tricky.
I'm meeting up with one or two of the guys from TW, but then it's on my doorstep. Should be a reasonable day out.

what time you going over. Was thinking about getting bthere for about 2.00ish

Sorry mate, we went over at about 11.30
Met up with Daz from sunny Donny, dodged the rain and am now back home having dinner.

Well I got there at Three.
Was fizzling out by the time I got there. Went vis Crossgates, Leomster, Worcester, M5, M42. Took the Mille out for a good spin 220miles. Sure it's on Map 2 as not really running right. Only managed 136. Fuel economy was good 105miles before light coming on. Maybe she's running lean. Enjoyed the way she handles though once I got into the swing of it. The road from Crossgates to leomster was a good run. Don't know whether Stix & Bay have done it before on there normal round robin route but definately one for the future & on par with crossgates, Newtown . Will try the crossgates Knighton then down to Craven arms route next time out.

Pikey, i've just re-taxed mine at end of August as there are still good days to get out, in fact been out twice since. I understand tho with with young family, been there myself.

missing out on days like today !!
