Cadwell Park track day get together, Friday 18th March

If I've not sold the van my bro & I use for motorcross I'll be staying in that Thursday night. Me & a mate coming so got room for one more bike if anyone is enroute from Kent, sleeps 6 if peeps stuck for accomodation. If it's sold i'll be looking for a travel lodge or similar if anyones up for a few jars?
 
I plan to knock off work early on Thursday and travel up for early evening

Doubt I'll be able to stay Friday, will have to get back for the kids

Same here Russ. Stay Thursday back Friday night as got the kids Saturday. Not to many jars eh, although I bet I'd be faster when tipsy!
 
Theres always some smart fecker faster

Everyone is basically going as fast as they feel happy with and a little bit more sometimes and all enjoying the buzz

It will take me over 5 hours to get there, I will be frickin knackered before I start lol
 
Robbo, not definate but a mate of mine might tag along if he can get time off ( and they have places left ) Not on a real bike though, he's got one of them zx10r thingies from japan. Hope thats ok !!

The more the merrier dave. Not my gig, just thought I'd try get a few peeps together! Lot of the guys coming are on jap crap / track bikes anyway.

Few jars on the Thursday night somewhere me thinks as should be a few of us about.

Now got 16 in total, whoop, whoop. The riders I have confirmed & those that Easy Track have don't stack up so I'm trying to find the missing links. If you've booked in but not told me can you drop me a quick PM or post on here!

Anyone heading up Thursday night? If so, where you planning to stay & do you fancy meeting for a bite to eat / few jars somewhere?
 
Numbers with Easy Track now stack up. They've just told me that Josh Brooks & Alastair Seeley are booked in for the day. Whether for track time or some corporate shindig he don't know, but be good to see some airtime if they are on track :drool

havnt sorted anywhere yet robbo. Have you ? Thinking it should be as near the track as possible.
My first time at cadwell so if you have any suggestions fire away..

20 riders is very good mate; should have held out for the 15%! We'll negotiate more next time

TBH I've not even heard of the guys (easytrack) before so I was asking around a few racing and trackday pals last night. The news from the jungle drums was excellent, they're said to be laid back and friendly but also pretty efficient. All sounds good

I'll probably go with the flow for Thursday night, might camp at the circuit

Now, has Nobber decided if he's attending the trackday he instigated?
 
If you are coming North to Cadwell look in Horncastle for overnight digs, the Black Bull is OK AFAIK, I live close enough to ride, so I can't vouch personally.
 
I'd never heard of em until you posted a link to their website Russ. After speaking to Marcus over the last week, seem like a great bunch of lads in it for the good times!

As for accommodation, never been that far abroad either but came across this place. Centre of Louth, 5 miles from the circuit & at 55 sheets for a twin room b&b with weekday special dinner thrown in, don't seem too bad.

Evening all, how's you doing?

Ok, sold the motorhome this week. Yes I'm crying inside, lol, but having a break from motocross for a while so couldn't justify leaving it parked & not being used. More road bike adventures this year one thinks :). Anyway, I will be sourcing a bed for the night somewhere on the Thursday so if your planning to do the same let me know & maybe we can hook up.

Spoke to a few more peeps that want to come along on the day so numbers are stacking up nicely. If you do book up can you let me know the names so when Easy Track call they tally up.

Finally, I was thinking of sorting some tshirts to mark the occasion. One of the guys I work with has done me the design which I'll post up tomorrow. Will look into pricing, sizing etc... If theirs a demand for em.

Morning people. As mentioned before, if their is demand for em I'm happy to sort some tshirts to mark the day. Not got a clue on price yet as first thing they will ask is how many do I want. Can't see em costing more than £15 each so if you fancy one let me know.

Got an image to show what will be on the back of a plain white tshirt but fook knows how to upload it. Can I email it to someone to do for me?
