Hello and welcome to the site taffy apple.:rock

My fuel light often stays on for a while after filling up.Summat to do with the sensor in the tank,I guess.:dunno

My dash is like a feckin fruit machine ... I turn the key and wait to see what comes up

This week

"Low fuel" with a full tank = wrong and went away 5 mins later

"SERVICE!" wrong and went away 10 mins later

"ST" no idea ... but it went away

"a small spanner sign" to the right of "MPH" ... **** knows ... but its not due for service and it's still there.

Oh!

And the fog

That damned fog

N, yer can get rid of the spanner if yer want. I get the effin SERVICE up every time I'm oot, says it's the cam position sensor.

TA welcome mucker, sounds like yer want to do whit the nob advised. At least yer will know it's not that if it don't work, good luck.

Welcome mate, great bunch of lads on here, many with a wealth of experience & a few numpties aka pikemong - ****, did I say that out loud!

My fuel light has a mind of it's own & also have the ST appear every now & then. Just get on, ride & enjoy :thumbup

Ok,ignore the ST thing on the dash. Its just a function where you can store your tyre pressures and suspension settings.
FFS,does'nt anyone read the handbook these days?

TA where r u in Wales mucker. We try to get a few ride outs with others off this site and last couple have been good. Puts faces to names etc (for some people it's not such a good thing though). I must make an effort to go out with my other mates though.

welcome TA good to see another welsh man on here, cant help with your prob though sorry

hello all, sorry, forgot to state it is an04 touno...took tank off earlier, took off headlamp fairing, pulled apart every connection and wd40 d the lot...still no rev counter or temperature...anyone got any clues where to start...???by the way, im from the bridgend area.....

nantymoel.....ive been reading up a bit and heared that theres two sensors...one for the fans and one for the clocks...found the one for the fan i think, left hand side under the tank on top of a round metal bit...does anyone know where the other switch is to for the clocks ????

Sorry can't help you with the sensors but hope you sort it out. Keep a look out for rides we've had two recently I'll keep you in mind as you're not exactly far away :)

yeah let me know, be nice to have a rideout, havent had a good un for a long time...does anyone know dates for any good bike bashes ???

There's a ride being organised for 8th may around minehead - have a look on here. If your interested we could ride down together. My mate Roly has come with me on the last two on his cbr. The last one last week his mate rich joined us on his BMW 1000rr as well. All good fun!!

D, this is from memory which ain't to good. Turn yer ign on and scroll down to diagnostic enter 13432 and select the service option, jist toggle to reset.

D if that ain't correct I'm sure someone will put yer right.
