Not needed any yet but I'll watch this poll with interest for the future.

SBS or Bendix buddy, used them both and both excellent....................:thumbup

i've used to sorts of carbon lorraine for last couple years

but mine a due a change over the winter & will be trying some brembo ones badger recomended

wouldnt mind putting brembo pads back in as thats whats in there now and i'm more than happy with them

Wheres the best place to buy them though, some aprilia sites want upto £95 for 1 set  NO way am i paying £190 for pads :rant

got the gold ones in off ebay no probs good price work well

Brembos afcorse :)

I tried a few brands, the ones that are any good also cost close or the same as brembo, so its a no brainer :)

Ok brembo it is....where's the best place to buy em......any ideas ???

I can check if I can get them any cheaper. Have to check for me to. As far as I know there is a company here that makes braking systems for brembo and you can also buy their stuff, cheaper(but there not brembo labeled). Im going to them next week and can let you know about the price, should be a lot less than 190pounds even with shipping to uk :)

I'll also be interested in the results of this as I am in rather dire need of some new pads have more or less made up my mind that I will go for the bembo but I could do with knowing the best place to get them as I am skint.:)

EBC would be my first choice but I've heard a lot of people say these Gold Frens on Flea Bay are pretty good pads for the money.

Gotta be worth a try at £25 delivered to your door.

Sorry to disagree, but no way would I trust £25 pads from fleebay on my bike!
You cant put a price on your safety IMO, especially brakes!
OE is best, or second best, Known brands (EBC, Carbon Lorrain etc)

Ebc double H, always used em on all bikes I've had for last 20 years. been spot on

:biggrinYes I agree, the Brembo pads are very good for the road with a good feel. I use Performance Friction pads for the track because the road brembo's over heat and glaze up with continuous hard braking on the track. So those are my choices for each application.:thumbup

got them on mine brill pads loads of feel had ebc on before and thought they were crap felt wooden do you know who makes the oe pads or ebc or any of the others you may find they all come from the same supplier then get rebranded

My fronts are getting low, So this is a good thread. Brembo ones seem expensive but then anything thats works well always is!. But what are SBS and the Bendix ones like compared to the Brembos?. Would rather have a softer compound to.

As for Ebay pads, No fecking way. When your riding hard you flying up to a corner you wanna know when you get on the brakes its going to stop!, Cheap metals and materials as never good!.
