i put dot 5.1 in last change after reading the manual recommended it for both brake and clutch, i also thought better heat properties maybe it'll solve the rear brake problem but just done another service 4000 miles on and changed it back as the clutch and brake fluid were quite discoloured for only being in 8 months and 4000 miles.
Didn't notice any difference and 5.1 needs more frequent changes and is dearer so my advice would be stick to good quality dot 4 and bleed your brakes better and more often if you really want stoppie levels of power.
