Have a look at SVR Batteries, I bought one a while back, (a 14aH one)
Made in the US, brilliant quality, not cheap...but you gets what yer pays for I recon.
Starting has never been better, it really spins the bastid over :biggrin

Absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology
Sealed design
No liquid
Zero corrosion
Resists vibration damage.
Very low self-discharge rate
Higher cold cranking amps than stock wet batteries
Extra heavy duty terminal design

As I've said, really well made, and probs the strongest, and best designed terminals I've ever come across.

These are AGM batteries but alot cheaper than £95.00 :confused is it the same as the one you fitted.

Unibat CTZ14s-bs - leave mine for weeks , months over winter , starts fine without the use of an optimate , or a charger. Unibat sponsor the Ducati Althea WSB team of C checa etc ,there made in italy and OE for ducati , benelli , husqvarna and others and not cheap china imports.

Got me one of these MOTOBATTS a couple of weeks ago and starting has been transformed from UMMMMM WILL IT START OR NOT to COURSE IT WILL START NO PROBS......cannot recommend this battery enough (lonner swayed my decision as he recommended it was the best 1 to get)
now fogg has just confirmed that saying the motobatt won hands down on the st1300 forum battery tests:thumbup

ultimatley odyssey batteries are by for the best but the down side is price - we supply these for ambulance vehicles all over the northwest and fire vehicles due to there true capacities , and we supply them for commercial vehicle jump packs - take your aprilia battery and put another one on top to double the size - X that by 2 and you can start a 15 litre cummins truck

Blimey they are as cheap as chips only £34.80 on ebay

yep seen there add nik' obviously only got 2 to sell - prob dont offer a full warranty and not being funny and i could be wrong but seeing as we are a direct importer of over 500k worth of unibat batteries a year we cant even buy that battery for that price - i ask my self a few questions hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
