Seriously considering picking one up (local dealer has two new ones for way under MSRP).

I already know the dealer is unloading them because he doesn't want to be a Benelli dealer any longer, which means I'll be SOL on a nearby shop. But, considering in the 5 (nearly 6) years I've had the R1 i've been to a shop, twice...both for basic maint. I'm not too worried.

Granted I doubt the Benelli will have the same reliability, but I haven't heard anything about them grenading either. :O

Aftermarket parts are non-existant, but what would I mod? FYI this a street only machine, I have no intention of taking it on the track.

so would you get one if you had the chance and were looking for a street bike?

:thumbupthe fairing looks a bit kawasaki'esque but the frame and swinger are pure art - I guess if its a stonking deal then I may consider.

Couldn't decide whether I liked that or not untill you put the yellow one on :doug yeah thats much nicer. Looks a real beast of a bike crashtd go for it :thumbup

I'm with Sprocker .. the Yellow one looks the goods Crashtd..how many clams they lookin' for it to clinch a deal?

Have to say i really like the Tnt and over here in the uk you get alot of bike for the money.
Hard to tell from the photos but i would go green looks real smart

Laters Dan :)

I like the look of the green one
looks like a transformer:thumbup

are they triples:confused if so would sound awsome

I reckon the green one is nicer but as you are not going on the track then you could go for the slower yellow one :devious :biggrin

Mate of mine had one loved it but got fed up with it not starting when hot and loads of electric problems. Was a couple of years ago so maybe improved now.

I think it looks Butt Ugly :puke

But think you should buy one, then i can do after dinner speach's about a bloke who bought an ugly bike :thumbup:biggrin:nana

I'm guessing the starting stuff is all fixed - at least it seems folks are not having trouble with the Tre-k on advrider and I believe that the electrics and basic motor is identical (though with milder cams or something no doubt).

I do like these bike's, i'm thinking I might go for the street fighter look when I move on from the RSV.

If it were me buying i'd go for the green. Green is also the team's racing colour's isn't it ?.

how about this one then Stu? :O

Still Butt Ugly and i will still do after dinner speach's but it does look better in black, Buy the Black one mate

I did quite like the look of them but then I got close to them at one of the bike shows and saw all the Ikea bathroom plastic tat bits stuck all over them - make one of those Chinese trail bikes look like an MV.
But don't mind me.
