Hello all,

Bike not starting right so going to get a new battery. It has a motobatt at the moment. Are these any good or is there something better I can buy?.

Edited....one plug cap down until tomorrow not helping but best to have new.

I've got an SSB LFP14H-BS Ultralite Lithium Battery which cranks out 240CCA. It weighs practically nothing and, (hopefully), will save the sprag for the foreseeable future. One of the best things I've bought for the bike.
 
Thanks for reply's! I ordered another motobatt but I'm not convinced this is the problem with the bike starting so it is going to be serviced and sorted by professionals.
 
Is yours Gen1 or Gen2 and have you checked the relevant alternator to Reg/Rec connectors ?

Hi Kiwi, it's a Gen2 but to give you an idea of my working knowledge of the bike.....I have no idea what reg/rec connectors are so best to leave it to professionals. Thanks for your input but best to push the bike to my local shop tomorrow.....
 
Went in to Twiggers yesterday for starting problem, remove alarm immobiliser and take a bit of cbr1000rr07 side stand I put on the other day as it sits a bit too upright. They are the UKs no 1 Guzzi dealer and have sorted my bikes in the past and I might add, thoroughly nice people.
