hi all,
just bought 2 x new batterys of ebay for my bikes(c90 and mille)
anyhow no probs with the micky mouse c90 battery(gosh it is tiny:biggrin)

i do however have a question about the new varta battery i bought for the rsv.

im lead to believe????the ytz14s-bs battery is the one to go for???
(more power etc)
as thats the one ive gone and bought.

the old battery was a ytx14bs,and is alot bigger than the new battery.
and it was 12 ah,and the new one is only 11 ah.
have i gone wrong somewhere?????and the one ive took out is better than my new one???

hope not as its just cost me £58!!!!!!

cheers in advance
pat.

It's fine, plus the added bonus of being lighter too, means you can have that extra pie you usually turn down:thumbup

The YTZ mate is a newer model battery .... than the YTX

£58 was bloody cheap ........................ I bought 2 of them for my mates R1's ........

Both his R1's are track bikes .......................

I believe the weight saving is mainly to do with the YTZ having some form of absorbent glass inside em ................

Right thats me ready for a sit down ....:devious my head hurts :confused
