Back on a ape

Well today I fitted my new top yoke (ABM) as the other one wasn't quite to my liking......new Renthals and matching bar ends still to fit, I've just ordered new billet reservoirs from the land of the rising sun......still have to fit the braided brake lines which will done the mora and I have to trim the screen a little bit more...other than that it's nearly there......:biggrin

First day out on the Falco, nice bike to ride.....good power, brakes, handling.....the biggest thing though is how bloody light the thing is....so the more I ride it the quicker I get use to it.....but all in all very happy...as for a hurl.....anytime m8....just gis a pm a couple days, weeks when it's due...

Hello again, I'm back on a Aprilia I bought this Falco 2 weeks ago... a real nice bike and I'm happy it's a lot nicer to ride than the gen 1 tuono I had a couple yrs back.......[/

Rexr,
V-tidy machine m8. Would be interested to hear your views on why it's nicer to ride then your previous Gen1 when u get a mo?

Hi Paul

This falco is more sorted bike than my tuono was, the tuono was either running map 1 or 2 with a leo vince can and the throttle was either on or off, the Falco on the other hand has forza performance chip, derestricted airbox, K and N filter, Aprilia SL carbon cans.....with this set up the bike is super smooth, also the last owner fitted a 15 tooth front sprocket......

Thanks for the info Rexr. I knew a guy with a Mille that had a throttle response like that. Makes interesting riding when opening the throttle slightly on a roundabout or bend... :). Def. nicer without the added excitement of an on/off throttle response!

There's a bit of a fix for a snatchy throttle, it involves filing down a bit of the cable guide on the grip.

I can't remember where I saw it illustrated.

Will pm yer mucker next time I'm heading oot.

Mine hasn't got a snatchy throttle.........mine is smooth as butter.....sounds good m8.....
