Thanks to all the well-wishers and hmmmmmm to all the profiteers lol.
No, really, if you knew how I ride sometimes you'd all probably agree with me. The thing is, I had a white helmet, Black and green flourescent jacket, red and white bike and lights on (with super white bulbs) and the old geezer still came out. What can you do?
Also it seems I'm one of the '25% of the people that 75% of accidents happen to'

No it's a shave job, don't ask why lol. I did have a couple of backwaxes a few years ago but even with painkillers, a few whiskies and abit of herbal it stung mightily.

Falco I have a little bit of hair on my shoulders and I mean tiny little bit and the missus suggested having it waxed before we went on hols one year. I came out in an unsightly rash which lasted for a whole week and looked worse than the few hairs I had on my shoulders. I mean you can count about 5 and she suggested doing it so I though when she went for the whole waxing thing I'd try it. Never again.

PS Bonners I'm what you call in real life as subtle as an elephant. "I say what I bloody like and I like what I bloody well say" as one of Harry Enfield's characters once said. In truth though I say the truth but try and put it in an ok way. At the end of the day a spades a spade etc etc.

So Falco bite the bullet, hide that bruise, claim the insurance and get another bike. Otherwise you'll spend the insurance money fritter it away and think **** I wished I bought a bike with that money.

As one of the guys on another thread put before he unfortunately died of Cancer "Some days I couldn't ride as I felt so ill but just going in the garage and knowing I owned the bike and sitting on it made me forget about my illness and made my life a little bit better". Summat like that anyway.

I look at my bike every day and admit its not crash damaged but I think "Yeah thats mine and I can ride it when I want"

PS Whatever decision you make I'm sure it'll be the right one for you. Obviously don't stop using the forum though.

PPS if you'd have been going faster you'd have been passed him before he pulled out lol

Falco its your choice , but if you give it up what are you going to do instead ? we take these risks , not to escape life its self but to prevent life escaping us. Jeramy Kyle really isn't worth watching, once the pains gone you will be back. Well lets hope so.
all the best in your desicions

I remember that thread. I thought the same thing when I was recuping after hitting a deer.

I know we are trying to keep you in the fold, and I can only apologize for our profiteering types (ya gotta give them props for trying I guess), but I think that the sentiment here is, we don't want to lose ya. I truly think that down the road you would regret not getting another bike. Hold off on the decision at least until the bruise fades a little on the callipygean backside of yours...

*grin*
