Looks good mate. Got rim tape on my 03 silver Ape, certainly does brighten things up a bit.:thumbup
Those wheels are well bling Kawasakiinit, I couldn't be arsed to keep them clean! They do look great though.

To the OP: Mate, if you don`t mind my opinion, I prefer the silver rim tape that JaRSV has on his, to the red on yours ? Otherwise, tell me to keep my beak out ! :biggrin

hey i wasnt havin a go at his bike i like it and its the fastest colour , just gave my worthless opinion on the rim tape thats all , each to there own my wheels are bling but getting them wet sets you up for an afternoon in the garage with polish so its not all good :eatcorn
if any offence was taken it was not meant pal :thumbup

Hey Kawasakiinit - absolutely no offense taken mate !! if we cant give each other a hard time here, albeit tongue in cheek, then no point really being a member ?.....just by the way, I enjoy your bikes look also, different and hard core. We might just have too much sunshine here for those wheels, will blind traffic...I asked what you guys thought of the orange tape, so was looking for opinions - positive or negative. Ps _ what is hanging off your license plate in pic 2 ??

the thing on my plate is part of kens (aka hondacbrrr06) cross dressing hobby that he must have left on the bike whilst getting into his mankini on the northern lads ride out :biggrin........

Hi guys - finally ....got pics on here of my Silver 03 RSV. I have had this bike now last few months and she has had a service ( was no history ), put new tyres - BT016.......:dunno , yes I know , not the favorite, but I have always liked Bridgestones.
Nothing wrong with BT016 mate. Been raving about them since the first set i had on my Factory. You'll be hard pushed to find a better all round tyre for wet and Very hard dry use.:thumbup

Hi guys - finally ....got pics on here of my Silver 03 RSV. I have had this bike now last few months and she has had a service ( was no history ), put new tyres - BT016.......:dunno , yes I know , not the favorite, but I have always liked Bridgestones. She has a high screen - Powerbronze is the make, Akropovic slip on, performance air filter now too. I put that orange tape on wheels this weekend, but not sure if I messed up look or not ? Was a bit bland in all silver and black wheels, but can take off easily if need to. Not sure if this is gonna work here but if photo does not show, please view on my album.
Leave the tape for now might need some time to grow on you.
The red seats might be a good idea to give more colour to the bike, any upholsery shop will do a good job and is not that expensive.

By the way Joburg, are you aware that Akrapovic have been prosecuted by the EU for using highly toxic materials in the manufacturer of their exhaust systems? You need to change that mate. Luckily, I run a disposal company which specialises in just such materials, so take off that tasty ... sorry, highly dangerous! ... end can and link pipe, pack it up carefully and post it to me at ...

the seats made a massive difference to mine but beware the upholstery places mate . I got my pillion seat done first to see what it looked like and it came back like a pie crust around the edges crap.
In the end i took them to a vehicle upholsterer and they did both seats and supplied the material (unlike the first place) and charged me £45 for both where the first place charged me £60 for one seat crap job pie crust ...................
