Anyone else with a 09 factory . .

. . on here who can tell me what colour pillion seat should be supplied with the Black Dream coloured bike? The sales bloke at the shop isnt sure if its black or red i'm supposed to get. I wont be using it anyway, unless i put a tail pack on to go travelling, its just i'd rather have the right one supplied.

Hi mate I have the new black dream colours and the pillion seat is black. sort of the same as the centre of the main seat, carbon effect!

beware though just done 600 miles and the red sides on the main seat have started to turn black, presumably due to my leathers trousers. Have tried everything to get it if but with little success.

Hi mate go the same bike and the pilloion is a carbon black effect seat.

Cheers fella's. The sales bloke wanted to give me a red one but its sorted now. I love the bike. Did about a hundred and twenty miles today and i cant fault it. Apart from the stand. Its about an inch too short! Headmuscle, thats my actual my bike in your avatar strangely enough. Taken at Speedaway, the shop i bought it from and used on their website and bike trader adverts.

I live 7 miles from speedaway and i often went in to drool over the new factory just that they would not give me a decent px price

D&K dont have any factory Tuono's mate, just the R version. KJM do have a few, and they quoted me Â£8695 for cash and first service for Â£120 so haggle hard, but they are up in Wigan.

I've heard Southern Cross are "the" Aprilia dealers, but also heard they dont stock Aprilia anymore due to a fall out with Piaggo and they are down in London. Whether they have any left, i dont know.

Ah, another deserter from www.HondaCB1000r.com! I'd pop over to Speedaway Saturday and say Hello but its forecast heavy rain so i'll have to give it a miss. Anyway mate, i paid Â£8695, with the first service discounted to Â£120 and a (Â£200) discount on some Akra's with free fitting and map change but to be fair ive seen the pipes even cheaper still on ebay so i didnt take those. I managed to sell the CB privately the night before i was supposed to take it in, luckily. They offered me Â£6k for it and i got Â£6300 on Fleabay from a fella who'd just sold his blade. Are you having the 08 they have in or a brand new 09? Think the 08 was on offer for a few hundred cheaper than what i paid for the 09. Â£8395 ish i think.

If they dont have one in the showroom and you want to have a good look round mine im about ten miles from them up the M6.

Oh, and welcome!
