anybody cut down a set of arrow shotgun cans

just wondering if anybody has done this,and is it easy enough to do,i have a set but dont really like them the standard lenth but in my opinion (which usually counts for zilch )think they would look better about 150-200mm shorter :devious
or will it mess up the flow of the cans,any ideas and pics if poss would be great one day i might put on a can that will last a few weeks:roll

quite common mod on the shotty's, they usually take them down so as that they sit at just short of the end line of the seat unit - 20cm's seems a lot ?! the usual is around 2 inches (whats that ...... about 8sm'c?!)

yes probably is a bit too much,is it easy enough to do done it afew years ago with a micron can it was easy enough to do only prob was welding perforated tube thing in the middle as not got a welder...but can get it done,whats the best method of holding and cutting can without markin it or squashing it ..

nah no welding from memory, the perf tube slides inside the end caps, measure your cut tape up the marking with masking tape (stops slipping and shows the cut marking easier) hold it by hand not in a vice. Here ya go - a full walk through on bulldogging the shotty's --> click me

just use a 1mm thick stainless cutting disc on your angle grinder
