Fook knows
Took the T for a 2 hour blast today, fookin cold but fookin ace. First time this year I felt alive. Up Rivi, nice and dry roads.
Started on the nail and everything is in order. Only thing of note was the front caliper bolts have furred up a tad so I might get some stainless or I might just clean em up [have you seen the price of titanium btw :crazy].

Good on yer. My T is still sitting under the cover in the garage. Keep thinking about taking it out but can't be arsed with cleaning all the ***** off again afterwards.

re the bolts: I cleaned every bolt head with a cotton bud soaked in WD40 before putting the bike away for the Winter.
Anal? Moi?

Just be carefull when buying bolts for the calipers, some bikes use a fine metric thread that isnt standard.Ducati are the worse culprits for this,...not sure about 'Prillas.

oi what about proper wimin...i ride my bike all year unless its snow n ice well my 1050, reckon the prilly would have rusted away lol

Good on you Evilin, you shame us. Pretty good in general though the Prillas where furring and rot is concerned. Funny thing is the furring has gone, it must been real fur, dog fur. Shhhhhppooookey.

Hows the tub of Vaseline ride Hector.

I put vaseline on the parts that I cannot get to with normal clening .

It`s on the spokes of my DR.
If you have cracked skin on your feet it works wonders after you`ve got used to sliding around insideyoursocks

Bloody hell it was cold this morning ... Jack Frost on the ground ... car windows thick with the stuff - but, first proper ride of 2011 = I rode the T 40 miles to work in West Bromwich!

Thermal vest and warm top, buff, inner Motrax gloves (***** by the way) and my thick leather long cuff touring gloves. Absolutely bloody loved it. If I'd gone by car it would have taken me an hour maybe an hour and a half (M54 / M6 / M5) but on the T it was a 40min blatt grinning from start to finish.

When I got to office my fingers were so cold I struggled to undo the DD helmet strap.

To do list

1) Buy decent inner gloves
2) Never buy another helmet that has DD straps
