Speedo not been working for an age and I have a quick speed question.

What speed for 8-9000 revs in second please?

Ta!

Good q bay even then not sure what speed without giving it a go? 70-80 maybe?

yeah, forgot about that, 43 rear and 16 front I think, wanted 44 but there was no stock, so a 43 went on!!

**** u'll find it hard to find someone on here with that combo. STiX has a 16 / 44 combo but I don't think his rev counter sees it much past about 4k revs

LOL, was just after an about, some cracking bends all linked together near me so it's real flick, flick. Someone asked how fast I go through them, I replied 'no idea, speedo's not worked for 6 months!!'

Waiting for a sensor at a reasonable price, there wanting £69 second hand on e-bay at the moment!!

I'll let you know after the weekend in North Wales hooning around mate, but I'll have a 16 / 44 on by then

Now now. I regularly see 5k and sometimes even 6!

do you have a sat nav for your car Judge, you could always chuck that on your bike

You should be able to work it out on HERE I think. You can type in your own sprocket sizes, tyre sizes ect.

Roughly between 70-80 it looks like.

Flipping eck I was actually right about something then for a change. Bay is correct though I'm not a big revver - rarely see the dizzy heights of 8-10k RPM :)

Ok just been out for the purposes of science on a 17 / 42 sprocket and at 8k revs was doing about 60 to 65 and at 9.5k revs about 70 to 75. I reckon on your sprocket you'd prob be doing about 60 to 70 as you'd be doing higher revs for less speed. Hope that helps

Very true, it's because even at 52.60 plus VAT its f**kin' expensive for a magnet on a wire!!

I was looking for a second hand one sub £20 or so as I having to a spend a fortune on the bike this year already, need new discs for next MOT, plus full service, plugs, chain and sprockets etc.
