And yet again!! - help needed once more

got no answer why it altered, other than having the throttle apart, but even then, it should not have altered the screw settings...that is if they were set correctly to start with and not being held at idle by throttle cable adj. as for the back fire..maybe chk for any air leaks around the TB's and inlet manifolds. Common method is a small spray of Ennox, RP7 etc, if it sucks that in it will wanna stall down the motor.

Possibly something I did when fitting HOOKED'S airbox?? Bike has been fine since day 1 with idleing, running etc, never had a problem at all.

Does sound like an air leak though, by checking the TB/inlet manifold which bit do you mean?? Do you mean around the inlet trumps??

With the HOOKED air box, you will definately get some suction around the trumpet where is passes through the baseplate if not seated hard down, however this is no problem to cause backfire...a backfire can be caused if there is an airleak on the inlet manifold boots..eg between TB, base and cyclinder head inlet. chk nothing is loose for peace of mind...failing this, if it is running well now mate..lhead out for a ride, pin it and have fun :pirate
