Don't sell it, heard that saying ' Be satisfied with what you have, not with what you haven't'? Lot's of guys still riding round on Jap crap, poor buggers.:devious
When you pull the linkage off your looking for pitting and corrosion on the actual needle bearings and the shaft that goes through the centres.
It should be well greased up, if it's dry then chances ar it's fooked the bearings.
Yours may not have seals as standard, mine didn't but it has no. :doug

What was the condition of the pivot pins? (The big spacer the bolt slides through)
Are they knackered/rusty/pitted etc... Reason I ask is they are buggers to get hold of and if they are knackered then I'll get 2 on order now.

They were fine surprisingly!! To be honest Alan, after a clean they all look very good!! The dog bone linkage thingy!! came up well after a clean but looking at it closely could definately do with bearings and grease!! Otherwise, surprisingly good...............:thumbup
