hi, just thought i'd show you a pic of my take on the DIY airbox mod.
i used armourflex pipe lagging and just cut it down the middle. the fit is perfect. No need for messy vaseline as the foam itself is high density and has great elasticity for sealing all the different contours. as an added bonus it is unaffected by fuels and oils and is flame retardant.
