There may be a number of different reasons why after confirming your order and your kit being ready that you haven't paid. However after being contacted and advised that i have made your kit and that it is ready to be posted,i will now only hang onto it for 7 days.After this time i will let some else waiting in the Que have yours.I will amend your order to canceled and if you still want your filter kit you will have to re-order it.
Im sorry guys but i just cant afford to have kits hanging around.

Pls adv me when ordering your kit if your running 57mm throttle bodies
or have the last 2003 Edwards rep which came standard with 57s.The reason being is that the base plate will need to be slightly bigger around the velocity stacks and the base plate itself needs to be 7.5mm thick

GEN 1 & GEN 2
Important announcement / update 15/02/2010.

I'm sure that people waiting on their kits may have noticed, that over the last few weeks with both
GEN 1 & 2 Threads have not been updated. There is a good reason for this.

On the whole the Gen 1 kits have been rolling out with no trouble and only minor delays in manufacturing as they are made to order, this is to be expected.

The Gen 2 kits have been more involved from the start, there have been a number of issues to overcome with this model of kit . The main issue which was the depth of the recess for the breather pipes. The depth of the recess caused initial problems when removing the plate from the moulds which was eventually overcome by redesigning the mould after i broke it . Another issue is the size of the Gen 2 kit which is substantially bigger and uses far more resources to complete i.e material space and time to make.

This has led me to approach a company for outside assistance with producing the last few kits using my perfected moulds for both GEN 1 & 2 Kits.
The company i have used have gone bust and have the receivers in which is causing me concerns as although the moulds are mine i cant get access to them.

So how long do you have to wait. I don't know and cant give you an accurate time frame to that question.
If i get both moulds back intact i can use them to turn out Fiberglass as there is a different curing process, but Prepreg & Carbon will be longer. As this will involve the use of vac pumps autoclave ovens etc.

The good news bit now.

I have been talking to Boyler of this forum who as some will know is an aviation carbon fibre technician. There is scope that Steve may start supplying me carbon plates ,however Steve is looking at the possibilities of working for himself again as has just been made redundant from his company timing is a ***** some time but hey every cloud has a silver lining.

I will of course keep people updated and informed as often as i have any information to tell you .
And if any one is interested in down grading to Fibreglass please pm me. As long as and when i get the moulds back i should be able to supply at reduced numbers the standard Fibreglass kits. However if Steve does manage to get up and running the Quality will be worth the wait. I personally hope that Steve starts up his own business and will become my supplier as his work has been well documented on this forum and will no doubt lead to a much higher quality of carbon products across the aprilia range.

Am i committed to continue producing these filter kits for both models .Hell yea i have over £700 just in filters & Materials waiting to be put together.

Any deposits have been refunded & if any one can't wait which would be understandable please post up and i will amend and delete you from the list.
If every one is cool with the delay i will supply in order when the kits are ready to be posted.
