Well, that justifies my concerns! I regard my front brake as pretty much essential, and I like to know when I squeeze it hard it will do it's job without the slightest concern.

I had 14 screws in my ankle after equipment failure - but that was a pair of top quality Renthal bars!! Oh well, I'd still buy quality stuff over cheaper-than-chips with the same strength crap....

Don't get me wrong, I love a healthy dose of risk, but getting f*cked because just because your equipment failed is a real wake up call. I suppose it depends how you ride & how much you rely on your equipment to work. Anyone race in the TT?...

I got the ones from MCMotorparts in the first link, superb quality & no fettling to make them fit. Glad I didn't have the ones in the video as I had to do a severe emergency stop the other weekend & with those it would have been all over. Went round a corner far to fast to find a load of stationary cars with a tree across the middle of the road.
