I love my mille (01) i also bought it to ride it hard on road and track which has meant a lot of patching up has been needed after binning it a few time over the last year. The last mishap snapped my lever, im not that fussed what the bike looks like so i after reading a few threads about cheap levers from China on fleabay i thought id give them a chance (no doubt they will also get snapped at some point anyway)

Im well chuffed with the result, delivered in 3 days, look and feel just like my brothers titax and only cost 35 quid. They did need to be filed slightly as they were about 1mm thick at the hinge but that was a doddle and doesn't show.

Anyway, thought this might help a few others who might be thinking the same. Mine were CNC levers from MFACTORY by the way

Nice one, been thinking about these levers as I'm after a pair of shorty flip up levers so hopefully I can still ride the bike in a spill but I don't know if any of the Chinese chappies do these?

Id like some better looking leavers. Someone was talking about some cheap ones for about £40/£50 on ebay, but don't know if they where from china?

A friend of mine bought the ones on ebay for £18 for his Ninja. They look the same as my CRG ones, but the adjuster wheel looks like it's made of some plastic.
Very good for the price though

+1 I was going to ask the same thing.

The more I see these shortie levers the more I need some!

HERE YOU GO

gRIFF SAW THESE AND COULDNT BELIEVE THE QUALITY

cant post a link for some reason but the seller is bike-z and this is one of their items ...Item number: 220775648478

My ones were available in both standard length (which seem a little shorter than the originals due to the slicker shape) and shorty. The seller on ebay is mfactory and they are advertised as CNC levers.

I've used two sets of the "******" ones on my bikes, great fit, great quality,no issues with them atall.

Hi i was raving about the chinese £35 ones but 2 months on the paint finish is that thin it looks back to the grey metal colour instead of the gloss black i might have to paint them again but apart from that there good......

I'm not sure I'd really want a cheap front brake lever, just in case it snapped... Having said that I had no probs with my dia comp copies back in the BMX days, and I probably yanked them a fair bit harder

Hi guys :) I bought some Mlabel levers off ebay and they are superb! Lovely quality, nicely machined and all roller bearings on the click levers. Best part of all was the price - £34 delivered :thumbup

I got some ones from Mfactory for my Monster S4R. I found they looked like the quality was good and looked great on the bike.

But, to make them fit, I had to file a bit off the thickness at the pivot point on the clutch lever. I was fine with this, but I also had to enlarge the hole in the brake lever, or the pin didn't fit. This I wasn't so happy with.

I would like to get another set for my new bike - but don't want to have to make them fit by enlarging any holes. I wouldn't mind filing off a bit of the thickness again - it was easy, not visible and I don't think it would have weakened it at all.

Any recommendations please for levers from Hong Kong etc that need the least amount of fettling to make them fit :).

Many thanks

I got a pair of shorties for my '05 R from 'the2wheels' off fleabay - very impressed - no mods required at all - took less than 10 mins to fit the pair. They were less than £30 & took 12 days to arrive. Don't know about long term wear yet (only been on for 4 days) - if this fone works, I'll add some pics...

Mine were £10 plus £10 postage. I got lucky with an auction. I use them pretty much every day so any thin paint issues, etc will soon notice........ I'll let you know.
