a pic for the doubting fuds

A mate of mine got divorced years ago and his mrs demanded half of everything even the tool kit from his bike!!

OK. Let's start again.

Great looking bike, Pikeman. Let us know how you find the BT023's.

Trackdays can be a bit intimidating for a first time, just put yourself in the novice group and enjoy yourself!

Enjoy your T!!

thank you.
Although not ridden it yet it feels a much more substancial bike than the tuoldo i test rode, thats a monster of a swing arm!! Feels heavier to push around. Sounded great when i started it up though and thats with the baffles in. Just noticed it has rad covers too and heated grips. Got a rear seat pad as well as the plastic cover.
One question from the back the nearside exhaust pulls in closer than the offside, its nearly behind the number plate, no sign of a drop and fitting looks identical to offside is this normal or am i missing a spacer ? Just want to ride it but we live up a track and its a bit slippy and brand new tyres too.

Great looking bikey pikey!

I never doubted you for a minute!

Nice to be able to keep it in the utility room

Nice to see you have kids (or that you like sledging and kids garden toys)

Nice to see a massive garden that a load of T owners can camp in this summer when it's your turn to host the newbies BBQ

Nice to see the dog hasn't eaten all the chooks

Finally ... nice to have you aboard as a proper T owner and not a day dreaming chutney ferret!!

Hmm sorry Pikeman I cant answer your exhaust question as I have a Gen 1 bike, I'm sure plenty of other members could let you know if it is normal or not.

i have to say the rear end of the gen2 is one of the nicest on any bike. front and middle not bad either :)

Ah must be hallucinating, the myth came thru...

Glad yer proved it exists an enjoy it P min best thing oan twa wheels

but ah still think ye wir a right tube in how u went aboot it :thumbup

I don't post much but read a lot & was never sure whether you were genuine or not TBH so glad you are Mr Pike :)

Looks pucker and hope you enjoy it. V close to riding time for me and many others so happy days Pikeman!

pikeman - i'll set my mini schnauzer on your alarm mate no probs she'll soon take care of him :thumbup, seriously ace lookin T & about time :thumbup

You haven't seen my ****** dog!

Get in there Harvey lad ... rip their throats out ...

What rusty and maldroid said, mucker. Trackdays ain't for racing, they are for discovering what your bike can do in a SAFE atmosphere! And getting comfortable with your own limits and extending them a little. Novice for sure, take your time, listen to feedback and a fiver says you have your knee down before the end of the day. I really am glad to see you have a little piece of Noale heaven. Enjoy.

Most of the popular exhausts,(Akro's,Leo V,Arrows)have spacers between the footrest hanger and the can strap. This is to keep the cans away from the swingarm. The Leo's come with a longer spacer for the nearside.I would check that the can does'nt rub on the swinger when the suspension moves.
Another thing to check is the number plate,.....make sure its fixed in the centre.

Oh,nice bike btw.:thumbup

Well well well wonders will never cease, you got tour bike at last and a nice one it is

I obviously new you were real but did wonder if you would ever get a bike

Also you must have as thick a skin as the mutt to hang around here

Oh yes and thanks for posting the link of the 08 factory in Lincoln as that's now the wifes bike

Pikey well done lad. I always did say to give you a chance but I'm glad that you eventually went out and did the deed and bought a steed ;)

What tyres are on there as I've forgotten what you mentoned they were going to put on. Not sure about the Gen 2 being a more substantial bike as aren't they supposed to get lighter the newer they are. How hum I dunno I've got a Gen 1 and it feels a lot lighter than the GSXR I had. Maybe its cos its taller.

Worcester you are aintcha?

pikey you need t loosen off all the bolts and brackets on the cans matey an make sure that the can is fully located into the flange if they are then you got a difference in the length of the joining pipe(or can length ) either way get ya tape measure out !!! good luck.
