Hi everyone,
New to the Aprilia world. In New Zealand and just bought my first Aprilia. An '04, Black, Factory with 21 thousand km on it. Last bike was a '97 GSXR 600 and I am loving the torque of this motor and the finesse of the Ohlins suspension.
Not so sure on that back brake though, for looks only?
Trying to get the corrected swingarm as it has not been fixed yet.
Riding it to work every day for kicks but I wish the rain would stop, nearly every day since I bought it, typical. . .

Welcome Rear Brake , youv'e found the right place thats for sure, and yes the rear brake is for looks only :)

Quite a few of us Kiwi's on here now, we'll soon need our own sub chapter

Welcome to the zone my friend. I agree with the suspension they are fantastic and handle a dream. Rear brake will never work mate and I just cannot understand why?

Not sure why everyone has trouble with thier rear brakes , mine has never not worked & have fixed all my mates brakes that haven't been playing the game easly . :dunno

Yes The Radial Brembos are great system, massive change from my old suzuki tokikos. The rear is not completely useless but feels wooden doesn't do much braking. it is well bleed, no air in the system, just a bit naff for my liking. great riding bike all told.
