Got my mille back on the road this week after a succesful engine transplant , took 4 long months but well worth the wait ,stupid grin now fully restored !!

Went up by glen Orchy , piss wet roads up there so did an about turn and headed out the Oban road to Dalmally ....biking heaven especially on the RSV .

Not that many bikes at the welly but a few rsv`s ,a tuono and a falco the short time i was there ,always good to see :thumbup

Anyway , 200 miles later and i`m glad i made the decision to get her back on the road again :thumbup:thumbup

And mine would have had a pit stop at Tyndrum Saturday afternoon on way from Oban if it hadn't broken down a mile north of Loch Awe. See separate thread. Only had the bike 6 days and this was my first day trip in the dry Had enjoyed a run up from Balloch, Arrochar, Inveraray, Lochgilphead in pretty good weather. Only a few damp patches. I was really looking forward to the road to Tyndrum and then down via Lochearn, Crieff, Glen Devon. But was not to be. Went home in a van :-(

A right pisser for you that boxer especially when you just got it, not the best of starts .Sounds like yours should be easy enough to sort though so you`ll just have to forgive and forget and thrash the ****ies of it when you get it sorted:thumbup!

Good luck for a quick fix !
