Hey up all,
Haven't had time to post recently due to work and family etc but i thought i'd tell you about my recent trip through the Pyrenees in early September.
Took overnight ferry from Portsmouth to St Malo and then travelled down through France to St Sebastian which is just in Spain.
Bloody long days riding but bike behaved o.k even though we did some flat out stints:thumbup
Had a good night out:devious and then set off for the mountains in the morning:doug
Fantastic roads - hairpins and fast sweeping bends - one after another:doug
Rode flat out all day even though the bike was loaded with tailpack and i was nursing a bloody big hangover!
Stopped overnight in the mountains and then travelled through Andorra - stopped in a cafe to watch the GP -back into France and stopped in Tarbes.
After another bloody good night out i was ready for some rest as was everyone else so we stopped at a friends house and sat about in the sun. We had planned to ride over the Millau bridge which is the worlds tallest bridge but it was too far out of the way and we didn't want to miss the ferry back from Cherbourg.
Got back to Portsmouth and rode home - the only rain all trip was about 10 miles before i got home:rant
All in all a great trip - None of us got pulled by the cops, fell off or broke down.
My rear tyre is totally shagged after 2000 miles
Here are a couple of pics
