very nice indeed mate :thumbup does that mean you and OT are now officially engaged :lol

:lol it' s a growing family mr B. Aldo , Felix, OT and now the novice to the fold. Not sure " propa ' off roaders will approve of my heated grips mind:no

Nice machine pc.

Hold on tight mucker. :whoop

Well done PC.

Looks like a nice bike, are you up for a bit of off roading.

I was out at the week end learning some new routes between Richmond, Leyburn, Hawes etc.

Looks like there is a new section to this forum.

There seems to be a growing number of bikers that do summer riding on a Tuono combined with off riding during the winter.

What do the moderators think about all these off road posts mixed in with the Tuono stuff ?

Nice bike PC..... welcome to the fold !!!

As for your heated grips....... i'll go first :

Firkin jealous.... Wish i could fit em to mine !!

:)

To be honest lads , I'm chuffed to bits with it. It's either a case of hardly riding through winter, or getting out on days that are there to be enjoyed and not having to worry too much about what damage the salt is doing. I love the T , more than any bike I've ever owned, I just wanna keep riding.:yes
As for there being more on the forum venturing off road I think we need to turn our attentions to GF and mr B to join the fun, although mr B would probably get his super hero cape snagged in the chain :yes
Felix, the heated grips are there for all to share.... What about the top box rack though ? Not exactly competition spec :lol

That's pretty much on the door step mate. I've done lanes up there over the years in the landrover.

I am getting to know some good routes, but a landie won't get some of the tracks I did at the week end.

How's the paw Mr F.

One of these week ends I wil be leading a ride around the dales.

My son and his mate have just bought DRZs so we will be taking it really steady.

Let me know availability and we will get a date planned before it gets too cold.

Scotch corner is a good meeting point.

Nice toy bud. Sadly I don't have any room to store another bike.:no Used to play many yrs ago, and would still like to have a bash at it.
Mr B will be the next one to join the fold. :yes

But you're half way there mate, you already have the heated grips.:lol

Cheap two wheeled fun , and keeps the T for " best " :yes

OT
Paw still a bit tender, but i need to get my finger out & drag Itchy out of hibernation. needs some tlc, mot, tax etc... so at least she's ready to play....
Plan to have a play on the old 2 stroke, then maybe look out for a 4st. Love stink bombs but not very practical getting from a to b (mines a premix). Tend to use martins van when we venture out but he seems to have lost a bit of interest... think a trip to scotch corner mite blow the poor ***** head off ... :lol

GF
obvious solution to your bike space problem..... Get one and keep it at OT's place...... (sorry OT !)

PC
Practical or what !!!!!

Batman - come on mate, join the fun !!

:)

Mr B, may be leader of the pack on a Tuono, but he would be eating our dust off road.
don't count on that one OT :kicknuts Most of my riding experience apart from the last 3 years has been off road :thumbup that's why my body is battered and broken :bawling
should I decide to go back off road it will be trials riding and not green laneing :yes enjoy the challenge and the solitude :thumbup
want something different or classic:

Seems to be a fair few parts for the Aprilia on flea bay and a couple of bikes knocking about for spares or repair but really like the TY or another twin shock but as you say they hold their price mate. but I aint in any rush

I thought about doing this, but too restrictive, legal places to ride off road are getting closed down.

When I was a lad, there was loads of places to ride a field bike, not any more.:banghead

it will be just as restrictive as the DRZ mate as I will be looking for a road registered machine not a field bike :yes still a few places to go local but I would prefer to be legal :thumbup
should I find the bike I want then I will be purchasing this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTOR-BIK...ailers_Transporters_Parts&hash=item2a338620a3
this would be the ideal purchase but they are hard to find locally :

It's a sad fact I'm afraid, but its getting harder to enjoy the country side on 2 wheels. There will come a time when it's organised events only. That's the **** euro compliant country we live in I'm afraid .
On a different note though, looking forward to the weekend away on the Ts in Scotland, as organised by mr B.It would be good if we could get a decent posse to turn up, we may even be able to tempt Aldo out :yes

I can see you are doing some investigations mr B.

I looked at those racks, nice and compact.

My brother used to have a Montessa Cota many years ago, it was a fun bike.
