THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!!! ******' BRILL' there Moggi!!! Cue the purists to start mewling, whingeing, pissing and moaning! You go fer it lad. I'm going to be VERY interested in following your progress. Thanks for sharing.

My pleasure, mate! :thumbup

I fancied a change and initially thought of using an MV tail but without the 4 cans it doesn't look right. Decided on Ducati 848/1098/1198 tail when I saw a bike in "Streetfighters" mag with one. :drool

I had 2 spills last year so I've given-up trying to keep it standard or holding-on to standard parts! :rolleyes

Next step is getting the subframe modified.

Nice one Moggi, sure to look good.

Fightering a bike may cost in time, effort and money but nobody else will have one the same.

I am fixing a gsx600f at the mo. (2 yrs) and have another frame to fighter with a busa swinger, shock, wheel, brakes and gsx subframe and plastics/seat , etc and TL1000 front end

Keeping it in the family, eh? :thumbup

This was my last effort at a streetfighter........

Nice running gear for the Kaw. Wish I had the talent tae fettle something like that.

Probably different headlight/fairing and possibly new dash. Will be cleaning-up the controls too, make it less cluttered. :thumbup

Little bit of an update.....

Not got Ducati rear end sorted yet BUT have had wheels painted black and front subframe/rear caliper mount/sprocket mount/oil filter cover/oil tank powdercoated black.

Decided to wheel her out of the garage for the first time in about 2 months! :bawling

likin the lines of the tail unit a lot ..an aw that black paint.. looks hard!

Cheers guys. I'm just busting to get it back on the road as I think it has been the 1st winter that I haven't ridden! :bawling

The Duc subframe isn't completely sorted yet but will hopefully be, within a wk or 2. Just bought some stubby Scorpion (wanted Arrow really!) cans for a Kwak z1000, 2 go with the 2-2. Want them located as low as possible, maybe under the rearsets but not too close that I'll melt me boots! :rolleyes

Not sure if I'll be refitting the racing bellypan as thinking of wrapping the downpipes in black wrap and leaving underneath open. :drool

Will see :thumbup
