Hi all

I bought my gen 2 rsv in December last year for a good price and had no intention of nodding it ,however I started trawling the forums and started getting the modding bug .
My first mod was fitting rsv4 restarts to relocate the brake cylinder , fitted some nice Chinese folding levers , then started looking at big bore , I was offered 1060 but being greedy only 1102 would do .
I had a guy in the Netherlands source ductile iron liners and the cp pistons , who then did the machining to fit them , while there he sent my cams to Kent cams to be reprofiled .
Iv also purchased a inijet programmable ecu , Ducati 1198 shows injectors and a full akro system , sadly not evo 6 .

I just need a few parts so I can start the build

Thanks guys , still waiting for some parts to come and I also need to make some room in my workshop , I need to machine the cam wheels too .
I'm not sure which motor to use for the bottom end yet , the one in the bike would be easy as I can just bolt on the top end , the other motor needs some bearings and shells .

No , I always intended doing it , I did ask him for a price to do and and he said he didn't like the engine , said it was poorly designed and outpriced himself to do it , just had a look at the pump and that's had some bits of metal go through it :-(

does anyone know which system this is , the inlet to the slipons is 60mm , had a look in the akro catalog and can only find the evo system that looks similar

Ktm dealers? For the shims

Bit of crapper about the metal going through the pump but remember you mentioning before the doubtful condition of the engine

I can only find ktm shims up to 3.2 , maybe Harley ones go bigger .
Yeah shame about the bottom end but I mainly bought it for the cylinders and heads so no big issue .
I'll source all the bits over the next couple of weeks while I sort my heads out , then se if I can build the motor up over a long weekend .

I had a chat with brummiemax today , what a top bloke , anyway with the limited free time I get iv decided he will build the motor up for me , so hopefully I'll be taking home an engine and a box of goodies in the next couple of weeks .
