WTB: Rear suspension dog-bone for 2001 mille

Hi all,

Rear suspension collapsed on me last night. Dog bone snapped and looking around on forums seems like it's not uncommon. Can't afford a new one from Mr Aprilia right now so does anyone on here have one for sale? I believe the part number is AP8146340 for 2001 RSV (non-R).

there are 2 types or dogbone. If it's the short one I have got one that you can have fairly cheap. It's good that you are still alive. Please service your dog and bone as regularly as you can.

thanks for the offer but got one at last (the long one) and have just ordered HK1812V bearings x 6 (+ seals) from simply bearings. hopefully keep me suspended for a while. yes it is good I'm still alive

Scarey! Only had the bike just over a year and did mean to get round to checking linkage. Will definitely check my rs250 also now ;-)

Also when you meet another rsv rider on the road don't forget to point it out. This is how I found out about mine. Not many rider check out forums and not many riders are mechanically minded.

The dogbone (supposedly for 2001 RSV) arrived and is 106mm. The one I need is 130mm eye to eye - anyone out there that can help me out? Am getting desperate....
