hi got a yr 2000 rsvr on which the efi / service warning comes up on the dash. is it a case of RTD (return to dealer), RTFM (refer to f*** manual) or is there some sort of test or check to find out why its on? cheers in advance folks

Temp reads 135c so obviously the warning comes on but what i dont get is that if i switch the ignition off just for a second or two the temp goes down to normal and all is ok.Plenty of coolant in the bike so is this an elctrical gremlin?:confused

just for the future refence, symptom: one click fuel pump primes no turn over or fire when you keep pressing the start button about 7 seconds the EFI warning shows up( on dealer mode the Fault codes 11 and 12 show up) also the "No Start" shows up once a while(fault code 41 on dealer mode)...

About 10 miles after my service had been done the "Service" warning came up on the dash. Obviously I don't need a service but does anybody know if there is any way to get rid of it without having to go back to the dealer?
