Does anyone have any preferences or suggestions for track day tyre pressures? I'm running standard tyre sizes, 190/50 and 120/70. Any input would be great as this will be my first ever track day, thanks. :thumbup
6 months ago this was a load of parts in boxes:
Bought and broken 2 Y2K RSVs in the last year and built this from parts leftover!!
So, it owes me less than £700 including buying and having serviced an Ohlins rear shock, servicing and re-valving front forks and some paintwork.

Well, after much work over the winter I've finally finished my project (well almost apart from a few small items). Pumping out 132.5BHP and 75ft/lb of torque, by adding a modified air tube, filter, titanium race cans, power commander with ECU set on map2 etc etc.
:bigsmile
Ok track day boys, I know its a track, I know you feel like you are quick, But it is sooooo tame after racing 20 others competiters in anger.. Bikes, cars or karts, racing makes track days a real bore....fD :sleepy
I'm looking for a track biased shock for my 04 Factory - I have a budget that doesn't stretch to new prices so if you have one you want to move let me know
cheers

I've done a few track days in the past nearly all sports bikes , hoping to do some next year . Originally I was thinking about a cheap RSVR (subject to cash ) as it would make sense , spares etc but then I got thinking about sticking track fairings on the tuono !!!! Lots of threads on convering...
Hi all,
Just gauging interest here, I've a 2004 RSVR that's Cat D, minor panel damage. 8700 miles, mechanically excellent, runs superbly. Really clean condition, no damage to frame/forks/wheels/swinging arm (unusually!) etc. All pretty standard apart from twin Leo Vinci Ti cans & an MPL clutch...
Cheap set for sale for RSVR 04> dont have the seat unit, and doesn't include screen, but they are solid, scruffy but solid. Theres only a tiny little piece thats come off I still have the piece if you want to fibreglass it back together, but you can't tell when its on the bike, and its 100%...
