Lads, I have upgraded my OEM Sachs damper for a fully adjustable damper, I have fitted the damper directly in place of the OEM and it just doesn't look right, although after a pootle round last night it works ok.

Hi all. I've had my T for 2 years now and have yet to service the stock Sachs Steering Damper. Does anyone know how to disassemble and service the damper, I've searched high and low and can't find any mention of servicing anywhere! Thank you in advance... :thumbup

Looking for a quality steering damper for my Gen2 RSV1000R. Doesn't have to be Ohlins, but don't want cheap Chinese/ebay stuff either.

Hey guys any advice on the stock steering damper? I have heard it leaves much to be desired so i was wondering if it is something that should be swapped for an upgrade? Or does anyone know if you could improve it by putting thicker oil in it? 2007 1000r by the way!

Help , will a steering damper from a gen 1 fit a gen 2 tuono . got the offer of an ohlins damper for a gen 1 for silly money . be rude not to have it , so long as it fits a gen 2 !!!! :thumbup
