speedo

Someone looked at my bike yesterday and told me the Speedo could be reading high because it may have had a kph Speedo with just a mph face plate, possibly fitted from new! It’s a 53 plate Cap 1000. Anybody shed any light on this? He said he’d read on a forum that some bikes were kinda grey...

hi guys wonder if you can help me out got a 2008 millie and my speedo isnt working. the rev counter is working fine and the temperatrue guage is registring but the speedo is on 0 and the mileometer is not going up either any ideas? cheers

both speedo and rev counter playing up any ideas or help would be grateful. Speedo just runs from 0-200 kph then 0. rev counter wont even move when bike is started and wont go above 2000 revs very annoying as had to sit behind car as there were a few cash cows on the way home from work.

I have a streetfightered RSV1000R Mille with a Koso RX2 speedo fitted. The original would have used an active? Sensor not the magnetic type fitted and that would count the disk bolts. The bolts however, (x5) do not have a recess to accommodate the magnets. Can I retro fit an active? type sensor...

I'm flummoxed! So I STUPIDLY installed one of the optimate permanent charge feed connections and its ballsed up my speedo, I've replaced the speedo sensor (checked the voltage between the different coloured connections - haven't been able to get a zero reading when passing the disc bolt over...

Hi I need to find out if the soeedo/mileometer is able to switch to/from KMH - Miles? And is the headlight a flat beam, or can it be simply switch from dipping right(Euro) to left UK spec? Cheers B
