solenoid

Alright guys, i've been given a complete starter solenoid (including leads, connections etc...) from an XJR 1300 Yam to sell for a mate who is even more clueless on computers than me!! I was wondering whether this would work on my Mille as an upgrade/replacement?? I remeber that it is a Yamaha...

Ok guys so I just found out I have a faulty solenoid on my 2001 RSV, what solenoids will replace this one? Somebody said that a yamaha solenoid will replace it. Also if the solenoid is bridged should the bike start?

Anyone got the above available to buy?? Cheers.........:thumbup

:eatcorn Guys I have the yamaha part no. for the replacement starter solenoid 4kd-81-940-00-100a to replace the gash Aprilia one but all the sites I have looked at require the bike model and not the part number. So to cut to the chase what bike is the relay off? Or better still does anyone...

Does anyone know where to get one of these off the net mail order? Failing that does anyone know the part number? Also how hard are these to swap for the OEM? :dunno:dunno:dunno

I've been going though OEM and aftermarket solenoids regularly and I finally got the part number for the Yamaha one so I'm on my way to the Yamaha dealer to get one on order. Has anyone run one long enough to determine if there is an increase in longevity? I've heard guys say they turn over...
