just took a sachs shock off my rsvr 01/02 model . i put it on as the ohlins needed repairing ,now its back on i no longer need the sachs ,its i think off an early model as its black with a white spring blue preload rings and a red rebound adjuster ,any ideas on its worth :dunno
All this talk of rear shocks got me thinking. I could sell my cans put the standard ones back on and buy a used better quality shock. But i like the extra noise and look of the aftermarket cans.
Doing both is not an option right now, so which way would you go?
I put this on ebay, if anyone is interested. Buy it now or best offer.

Project Pie has hit a snag, the sachs shock has been declared D.O.A by the shock man
Need a new one, not too expensive. Got my eye on a few on ebay. Anyone got one hiding in the garage?? Showa, Ohlins, anything else that will fit considered

I'm clearly spending too much time on ebay looking at **** I don't need...
While it's not an ohlins etc, it could be a bargain for someone with a standard Gen2 shock

Hi there,

About to change my Sachs rear shock for an Ohlins on my 04

If not how easy is to...
